2022 - 2023  WIHO TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Women's Ice Hockey Organization (WIHO) and Hong Kong Amateur Hockey Club (HKAHC) are happy to announce the "WIHO TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM".

As we are in our third year of weathering COVID-19 together, the pandemic has brought upon unprecedented challenges.  As COVID-19 continues to affect us, we need to adapt and continue with our programs.

With the ongoing pandemic, it has been difficult to engage overseas coaching to come to Hong Kong. In this regard, we are grateful for the opportunity to take on Matt FAGERSTROM and Kostiantyn FEDEROV, coaches from Typhoons Ice Hockey Organization to help coach WIHO Training & Development Program along side with our local coaches.

Players joining WIHO Program will be expected to commit to the program as well as to help the youth development program in Hong Kong and be part of Hong Kong Women’s Ice Hockey League (HKWIHL) which is the training ground and part of a feeder system for Hong Kong.  It is only with HKWIHL that Hong Kong is eligible to participate in the IIHF World Championship competition.

Applications are now open to all female hockey players who wish to participate in 2022/2023 WIHO Training & Development program from September 2022 to March 2023 (dryland sessions until end of Mar 2023). Dates/time subject to change. No refund after payment. We will confirm your participation after we receive all applications / payments.

Registration is now open! Be an early bird and register today.
